The last saddle tank design to be built at Swindon. Five engines were built to Lot 179 for use with dock shunting work.

This class of locomotive was extensively used for branch line work. This kit will build either the original 45XX class with straight tanks, or the later 4575 type with sloping tanks.

The large prairie tank locomotives were built over several decades up to the 1930's. This kit build the 61XX series, the prototypes being built during the late 1920's and 1930's.

Designed by Collett in the early 1920's, these locomotives saw extensive use hauling coal trains in South Wales. Also used elsewhere on mixed traffic workings.

One of the last Great Western designs introduced, ten engines in this class were built in 1949. They were used extensively for shunting empty carriage stock at Paddington and other places.

The tank version of the Collett goods, only ten of this class were built by the Great Western. Over 200 were built by outside contractors during the 1950's.
